EIA: Our Vision for Ecological Decision Support
In development. Not yet part of the product.
Today, GeoDataTrack is a web hub and offline field app for ecological monitoring: field capture, consultant QA and EOV reports in one place, from $150 per property per year (USD, excluding taxes). This page describes where we would like to take it next.
EIA: In Development
The Ecologically Intelligent Agent (EIA) is an idea we are developing: a decision-support layer that could sit on top of the data GeoDataTrack already holds. It is not available today.
Our aim is for EIA to reflect the holistic decision-making frameworks used in regenerative agriculture. Drawing from Savory Institute's Holistic Management principles and Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) protocols, we hope EIA could offer guidance that helps land managers make decisions aligned with their holistic context—their economic, social, and ecological goals.
The Convergence of Three Intelligences
EIA is AI + EI + RI
Ecological Intelligence
Understanding how natural systems function and regenerate
Artificial Intelligence
Spotting patterns across monitoring data
Relational Intelligence
Honoring the human context, values, and relationships that shape land stewardship
What We Hope EIA Could Do
The ideas we are exploring include:
- Context-aware insights that check decisions against your stated holistic goal
- Pattern recognition across your monitoring data that highlights ecological trends
- Decision support for grazing planning, biodiversity enhancement, and carbon sequestration
- Plain-language summaries of how your EOV scores are changing
None of this is available yet, and the scope may change as we develop it.
Built for the Commons
We want GeoDataTrack to serve ecological outcomes and the people doing the work. We are exploring alternative ownership models as part of that.
Your organisation's data stays yours.
